Job summary

Maritime and Coastguard Agency is seeking an HR Project Manager to plan, coordinate and deliver people-related project workstreams. The role involves developing HR policies, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring activities meet objectives, timescales and governance requirements.

The successful candidate will draft HR policies and guidance, manage project plans, risk logs and communications, and collaborate with stakeholders to support change and improvements.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience.
• Experience planning, coordinating and monitoring projects within timescales and governance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law and data protection; able to draft policies and guidance.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to produce reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of HR project workstreams across defined projects.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activity against objectives and governance.
• Draft HR policies, processes and procedures compliant with legislation and MCA standards.
• Develop and maintain project plans, reports and risk logs.
