Job summary

Cumming Group is a leading international project and cost management consultancy delivering innovative HR and business support services. The role focuses on day-to-day HR operations, policy development, and staff support across departments in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the Senior HR Director and Directors to drive people initiatives, ensure compliance, and maintain strong employee relations within the London-based team and across regions.

Qualifications

• Thorough attention to detail and confidentiality in all HR activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with senior leadership.
• Experience with HR policies, compliance, and process improvements.
• Proven track record in a busy HR environment with handling sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Answer employee HR queries and support Directors and Management.
• Record absence, sickness and manage attendance issues.
• Handle performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Update policies and HR documentation to ensure legal compliance.
• Collaborate with payroll on starters, leavers, overtime and benefits.
• Support Health & Wellbeing and People Working Groups with initiatives.
• Lead HR projects and continuous improvements to HR systems.
• Line manage the HR Administrator to ensure productivity.
• Maintain Workday records and payroll-related changes.
• Oversee recruitment offer letters and contracts to new starters.
