About The Role

Are you a HR practitioner ready to make a significant impact?

We're searching for a HR Business Partner to join our Trust. This isn't just an operational role; it's a strategic role where you will shape the future of our Portsmouth Schools.

Within this role, you will become a vital part of our HR team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the people services we provide to our schools and external customers. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing our people strategy that directly contributes to the success of our Trust.

You will be based in Portsmouth and will work with senior school leaders, developing strong relationships. Your expertise will be key in designing and delivering innovative HR solutions that meet our Trust's evolving people strategy and projects.

What we are looking for :
  • Extensive HR Knowledge with a CIPD Level 7 qualification (or working towards)
  • Previous Education experience is desirable
  • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders and develop effective working relationships to enable a first-class HR service
  • Experience of succession planning and talent management
  • Experience of implementing talent and performance management practices
  • Experience leading HR change projects such as restructures, TUPE, and HR policies
  • Ability to analyse and report on data as well as drive change based on that analysis
  • Support the recruitment and resourcing plans for our schools with the support of our recruitment team and Head of Business and Operations
  • Autonomy to plan your workload and lead the HR service in the South
  • Ability to travel to sites in Portsmouth and occasional travel to other Trust sites
