BYD is seeking an HR Generalist to manage the employee lifecycle, contracts, onboarding and offboarding for our UK operations. You will maintain records, support probation reviews and HR reporting while ensuring compliance with UK data protection requirements.

Fluency in Chinese and English is essential, as is strong Excel ability to handle large datasets and HR metrics. The role requires the legal right to work in the UK and offers competitive remuneration and holidays.

Qualificações

• HR Generalist, HR Officer, HR Administrator or similar HR operations role.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English to communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data handling.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, changes, offboarding).
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, offer letters and amendments; coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems in line with UK data protection requirements; support departures and offboarding.
• Maintain headcount trackers and HR reports; use Excel to analyse data for decision making.
• Respond to routine queries and support HR projects in coordination with the wider team.
