Zachary Daniels is recruiting for an HR Operations Administrator to join a growing retail business in Liverpool. The role covers a broad scope across People and operational administration, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and compliance.

You will manage employee records, contracts and leaver documentation, support payroll, and help with reports and data. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach will help you thrive in this hands‑on role.

• good Excel and MS Office skills essential

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR system information
• Preparing contracts, offer letters, amendments and leaver documentation
• Supporting recruitment, including interview coordination and candidate communication
• Managing pre-employment checks and new starter onboarding
• Ensuring new starters have systems, training and equipment
• Supporting the monthly payroll process and payroll queries
• Maintaining absence and attendance records and training compliance
• Producing regular People and workforce reports
• Coordinating with managers on daily HR and operational queries
