Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is seeking an organised HR Operations Administrator to join a growing retail business. The role spans the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to payroll, records and compliance, with hands-on support across People and operations.

You will manage HR systems, maintain accurate records, assist with reporting, and help managers with day-to-day queries while looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration or People operations.
• Experience with payroll and employee records is plus.
• Strong data handling and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system information.
• Prepare contracts, offer letters, amendments and leaver documents.
• Support recruitment, interview coordination and candidate communication.
• Manage pre-employment checks and onboarding for new starters.
• Support monthly payroll processes and resolve payroll queries.
• Produce regular People and workforce reports.
• Provide day-to-day HR and operational queries support for managers.
