TMEIC Europe is seeking an HR professional to manage employee lifecycle across Europe, including payroll, HR operations, compensation, GDPR compliance and training. The role supports the HR Manager EMEA to deliver the company’s objectives.

General Role Description

This role is responsible for supporting the employee lifecycle across Europe, including payroll administration, HR operations, compensation and benefits, GDPR compliance, training activities, and people-related processes that contribute to the achievement of the Company’s Mid-Range Plan (MRP) objectives.

Role Accountabilities
Payroll
  • Manage the time and attendance system and coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across European locations.
  • Handle payroll-related documentation and monthly HR data preparation
  • Administer employee benefits and welfare programs
  • Prepare and analyse HR reports and KPIs (e.g., absenteeism, overtime, headcount, labour cost and total employment cost).
HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation to ensure compliance with local legislation and Company values.
HRIS
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR Information Systems (HRIS).
Training and Development
  • Support the HR Manager EMEA in the annual Performance and Development Review process, including goal setting, compensation review activities, and training planning.
  • Support the implementation of trainings
GDPR Regulation
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR requirements and maintain HR processes and documentation aligned with data privacy regulations.
General Employee Accountabilities
  • Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager
  • Notify the manager promptly when work cannot be delivered as specified.
  • Collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Around 3 years of experience HR function, in particular in payroll and administration to achieve business goals
  • Good understanding of European labour laws, GDPR, and employment regulations
  • Demonstrated use of keen business acumen to develop effective HR strategies and priorities for improved business results
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks with hands‑on, tactical work
  • Demonstrated success implementing, measuring, and improving HR programs
  • Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrated successful and positive interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • German native speaker and fluency in English language, Italian knowledge will be a plus
  • Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, less than 20%, sometimes with limited notice
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Multi-functional project management experience or management experience in a business function in addition to HR
  • Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally in a global, multicultural organization (preferably Japanese)
  • Proficiency in HRIS (HR Information Systems)
  • Experience supporting diverse employee base spanning multiple geographic locations, domestically and internationally
  • Proficiency in an additional European Languages (e.g. Polish, Spanish)
