Job summary

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our established HR team on a part-time basis. The role influences strategic and operational workforce agendas, supporting services that make a real difference to local communities.

You will provide expert HR advice, lead workforce initiatives, partner with management teams, and help shape a positive workplace culture within NHSGGC.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent HR experience.
• Current membership of CIPD or equivalent professional body.
• Substantial generalist HR practitioner experience in a large, complex, unionised organisation.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with workforce data experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice and support on strategic and complex workforce matters.
• Partner with management teams to support workforce planning, modernisation, service redesign and organisational change.
• Promote staff engagement, partnership working and implementation of the Staff Governance Standard.
• Support managers in managing employee relations including attendance, performance, capability and conduct issues.
• Analyse workforce data and performance information to identify trends and drive service improvement.
• Lead and contribute to HR projects, policy implementation and workforce initiatives across the HSCP and NHSGGC.
• Coach and support managers to develop leadership capability and promote best practice in people management.
