Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager with strong legal and HR expertise to join them on a 1-year assignment. This senior role is responsible for leading a team of HR Consultants and delivering a high-quality HR service to a large and geographically dispersed workforce.
The successful candidate will need a strong generalist HR background and the ability to progress complex employee relations cases to resolution while working closely with Employment Law teams. The role involves both strategic and operational HR leadership within a fast-paced environment.
Act as a trusted HR partner, providing strategic and operational HR support across all HR functions.
Lead, manage and develop a team of HR Consultants to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Drive workforce planning initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
Manage high-volume, complex employee relations casework in line with employment law and best practice.
Collaborate closely with Employment Law teams to progress cases to resolution.
Implement and maintain HR policies, processes and procedures to support organisational goals and employee engagement.
Provide expert advice on change management, people strategy and risk management.
Build strong working relationships with managers, senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist.
Strong legal and HR experience, including progressing complex casework.
Broad generalist background including workforce planning, OD, and employee relations.
Experience managing teams across multiple locations.
Demonstrable ability to manage complex and high-volume ER casework.
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach.
