Ace HR Solutions in the East Yorkshire area is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the people agenda across the business. You will partner with managers at all levels to build a high-performing culture while ensuring best practice in all HR domains.

The role is a true generalist with significant autonomy and influence, reporting to senior leadership and owning the employee lifecycle end-to-end. A CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
• Significant experience in a generalist HR management role.
• Strong employee relations experience with complex cases.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR practice.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, talent management and succession planning.
• Knowledge of learning and development and organisational development.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and build credibility across levels.
• Experience supporting change initiatives and business transformation.
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with HR systems.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations matters, including investigations.
• Coach and support managers on people-related issues and leadership development.
• Manage recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
• Drive workforce planning, succession planning and talent management.
• Develop and implement learning and development strategies.
• Support performance management and employee engagement.
• Review and maintain HR policies and best practice.
• Use HR data and insights to inform decisions.
• Support organisational change, restructuring and transformation.
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure compliant payroll processes.
• Create internal communications and promote a positive culture.
