Job summary

Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function in the Colchester area, supporting a workforce of around 150 employees and helping shape policies and processes. You will partner with managers, provide day-to-day HR advisory across the full employee lifecycle, and drive improvements in ER, recruitment, onboarding, payroll queries and compliance with UK employment law.

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across the full employee lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments is a plus.
• Ability to advise managers and handle complex employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations, disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes.
• Review and develop HR policies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HR documentation.
• Provide HR reports to senior management.
• Support payroll queries and liaise with external advisers.
• Lead HR projects and organisational change.
