GXO is recruiting a HR Manager to join the Manchester site, providing on-site ER support, policy advice and coaching to managers while overseeing payroll and HR data processes.

This permanent, full-time role offers flexible hours (40 hours across 5 days, or 40 across 4 days, or 32 hours across 4 days with pro rata pay) and a salary up to £40,000 plus a 10% bonus, plus 25 days annual leave and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• CIPD Level 5 qualification is required.
• Experience with union environments and ER caseload management is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and with stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Knowledge of employment law is advantageous.

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join our Mars Snacking team in Manchester and providing support to 2 further sites.

As a HR Lead you will be responsible for advising on ER cases, ensuring all policies & procedures are adhered to, coaching and supporting Managers in all aspects of people management, together with overseeing payroll processes on site, alongside ensuring the HR data is managed and processed in line with GXO and statutory requirements. The role is also responsible for the on-site management of the HR KPI's.

This is a full time, permanent, however we have some super flexibility for this role and we are open to 40 hours across 5 days, or 40 hours across 4 days or 32 hours over 4 days (salary pro rata) How great is that!

What you'll do on a typical day as a HR Manager:

• Lead on all HR related matters for site
• Coach and develop people managers on all aspects of HR related processes and policy, supporting them with complex ER cases, absence management and performance management processes.
• Accurately managing HR KPI's on site, to include absence, headcount and other key measurables
• Lead & develop onsite People agenda
• Implementing and maintaining efficient HR processes & Continuous Improvement initiatives within the HR department
• Providing advice and guidance to colleagues on site
• Management of union relations & ER caseload & provide advice and guidance to colleagues on site
• Coaching and training Managers and Supervisors on HR matters, process and policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• CIPD level 5 qualified
• Previous experience within a union environment and previous ER caseload management experience
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and with stakeholders
• High attention to detail & able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Previous experience of working within a transport and logistics industry would be highly desirable
• An up-to-date knowledge or understanding of employment law
