Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients in Bridgwater is seeking a Site HR Manager to shape the colleague experience and drive our people agenda on site. This fixed-term contract role involves partnering with operations to deliver the full employee lifecycle and HR services in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will coach managers, build relations with unions, and use HR data to improve performance, diversity and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience across core HR generalist activities with policy knowledge.
• Confidence delivering training and coaching stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Collaborative approach with empathy and emotional intelligence.
• Knowledge of GDPR and handling sensitive employee data.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the delivery of the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to exit
• Building strong relationships with trade unions and site stakeholders to support business goals
• Coaching and supporting managers on people matters, policies and best practice
• Driving engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives across the site
• Using HR data and insights to influence decision making and improve performance
• Supporting workforce planning, talent development and succession activity
• Working closely with recruitment and HR teams to deliver an excellent candidate and onboarding experience

What we’re looking for

• Experience across core HR generalist activities with a solid understanding of HR policies and legislation
