You will also work collaboratively with the wider Group HR team to share best practice, support group initiatives and contribute to wider HR projects across the business.

This opportunity would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys a varied and autonomous role, is confident handling complex people matters and can build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential together with the ability to influence, gain credibility and provide practical support within a fast paced operational environment.

Salary: £30,316 per annum (24 hours) | £32,842 per annum (26 hours)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 12:50. Flexible working arrangements can be considered around both days and hours to suit the successful candidate and business requirements.

  • Provide HR guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle, managing disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, performance management and workplace investigations whilst supporting managers with day to day people matters.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, induction and workforce planning activities, using recruitment platforms and job boards to attract, recruit and retain high calibre employees.
  • Support employee development, training, succession planning, performance management and engagement initiatives that contribute towards individual growth and wider business objectives.
  • Drive employee wellbeing, attendance improvement and engagement activities, helping to maintain a positive, inclusive and productive working environment.

  • Support organisational change initiatives including consultations, restructures and business improvement projects, working closely with managers and the wider Group HR team.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business, acting as a trusted advisor to employees, managers and senior leadership teams.
  • Contribute as a member of the Senior Management Team, supporting both business objectives and wider people strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Group HR function on shared initiatives, best practice, compliance activities and HR projects across the group.

Requirements:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum with previous experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor operating within a standalone, autonomous or broad generalist environment.
