Job summary

AWE in Reading offers an HR apprenticeship to support People, Culture and Communications teams, gaining hands-on experience across employee relations, recruitment and development.

Based at Green Park, Reading, the role requires three onsite days per week; applicants must be UK nationals aged 18+ with GCSEs in Maths and English, and must be willing to obtain security clearance. The program combines on-the-job learning with formal training and mentoring to build practical HR skills.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including Maths and English.
• Applicants must be British Nationals and aged 18 or over by 31 August 2027.
• Security clearance: willing to obtain and maintain the required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support People, Culture and Communications teams in HR operations.
• Learn how HR supports employees, managers, recruitment, development, reward and queries.
• Work onsite at Green Park, Reading, three days a week.
