Job summary

Recruit Mint Ltd is seeking an hands-on HR Lead to own day-to-day HR across multiple depots, reporting to the HR Manager. You’ll manage employee relations, absence, contracts and HR admin while implementing new processes and standards in a fast-scaling healthcare & pharmaceutical logistics business in Portsmouth.

The role requires CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, strong UK employment law knowledge, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach. Hybrid working and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards
• Hands-on HR experience in a multi-site environment
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Proven ER case management and payroll exposure

Responsibilities

• Support HR Manager in running and improving HR function across multiple depots
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary processes
• Oversee absence management and return-to-work planning
• Issue contracts, offer letters and variations accurately
• Support probation reviews, appraisals and training needs analysis
• Embed new SOPs, SLAs and case management processes
• Assist payroll preparation with Finance
• Maintain HR records and data integrity
• Produce HR data and recruitment metrics
• Support recruitment and time-to-hire improvements
• Assist restructures and organisational change projects
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR and ISO
