Job summary

Recruit Mint Ltd. is seeking an HR Lead to own the day-to-day HR function for a fast-growing healthcare & pharmaceutical logistics business, based in Portsmouth. You will report to the HR Manager and manage employee relations, contracts, and HR admin across multiple depots.

The role is hands-on with room to grow, offering a 40-hour week, hybrid work after probation, and a clear path within a scaling HR function.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified, or working towards it.
• Hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience with HR systems and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Manager in running and improving the HR function across multiple depots.
• Manage employee relations cases (performance, conduct, grievance, discipline).
• Oversee absence management, welfare meetings and return-to-work planning.
• Issue contracts, offer letters and variations accurately and promptly.
• Support probation reviews, appraisals and training needs analysis.
• Embed new SOPs, SLAs and case management processes across HR and payroll.
