Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth invites undergraduates for a 12-month HR internship starting 19 July 2027. You will join the Human Resources team to support HRBPs, assist inductions, check right-to-work, and help with contracts, promotions and reporting in a busy aerospace environment.

The role offers 37 hours per week, hybrid working options, and a pathway to build experience in recruitment, early career assessment and broader HR projects within a leading European space company.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole duration of the placement.
• Currently studying towards a degree in Human Resources, Business or related subjects.
• Be happy to speak and liaise with people at different levels.
• Able to complete note-taking with accuracy.
• Have an interest in HR.

Responsibilities

• Supporting HRBPs in their business areas.
• Supporting any disciplinaries and grievances.
• Supporting inductions.
• Check right to work eligibility.
• Helping with contracts and promotions.
• Running reports.
• Getting involved in HR projects.
• Setting up site meetings.
• Getting involved in Early Career assessment, recruitment and development.
