Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth is offering an HR Internship placement for undergraduates to gain hands-on experience across HR functions and early career initiatives. This 12-month placement provides exposure to HR business partners, recruitment, and employee relations.

You will support inductions, check right-to-work, assist with contracts and promotions, run reports, and contribute to HR projects.

About us

The Human Resources (HR) team is responsible for ensuring compliance with policy and legislation, employee relations, reward, managing headcount, skills and competencies, early career intakes and development. Within Portsmouth we support the business that develop, analyse and build satellites as well as the teams that ensure secure communications globally. We have HR support across the UK as well as globally and you will be part of this professional team.

What you will be doing

You will be a key part of the HR team and have the unique opportunity to get involved in and spend time with each of the HR departments.

Requirements

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. SECURITY CLEARANCE

You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
