Job summary

Heybridge Associates Ltd are seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join their established HR team in West Yorkshire. The role covers a broad generalist remit, partnering with managers, delivering pragmatic HR advice and managing a varied employee relations caseload.

You will support absence management, recruitment, HR projects and the ongoing delivery of the people strategy, while aligning with employment legislation and HR best practices. Some remote working flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Practical experience of managing employee relations cases.
• Experience supporting HR projects and the implementation of HR strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance to line managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
• Ensure HR activities are conducted in accordance with employment legislation, organisational policies and HR best practice.
• Support recruitment and selection activity.
• Manage absence processes and support a consistent approach across the organisation.
• Provide guidance on family-friendly policies, including maternity, paternity and flexible working.
• Prepare and maintain accurate HR documentation, correspondence and employee records.
• Support the implementation of the HR strategy and contribute to HR projects and people initiatives.
• Produce HR metrics and management information to support business decision-making.
• Build strong working relationships with managers and employees across the organisation.
• Support the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
