• Ability to interpret HR data for decisions.

HR Generalist

Kingswinford £40,000-£48,000 Permanent Full-time

Hariley Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist to join an established international business based in Kingswinford.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a hands on, operational role and wants a position where they can work closely with managers, employees and senior leadership across the site.

You'll be joining an established HR team and supporting the wider Kingswinford operation, with plenty of variety and the opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of HR activities.

The Role

As the HR Generalist, you'll provide day to day HR advice and guidance across the site, working closely with managers and employees and helping to ensure HR processes and policies are effective and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
• Supporting employee relations and absence management
• Advising on UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• Maintaining and improving HR policies, processes and procedures
• Supporting employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives
• Coordinating recruitment activity and working with external recruitment partners
• Working closely with HR colleagues across HR systems, Health & Safety and employee development
• Supporting UK HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Using HR data and reporting to support decision-making and identify areas for improvementBuilding strong relationships across all levels of the business
• Working closely with operational leaders and senior management

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who is confident working in a generalist HR capacity and enjoys being visible and hands-on within a business.

Ideally, you will have:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
• Experience supporting employee relations and absence management
• Experience advising and coaching managers
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and compliance
• Experience using HR systems and Microsoft 365
• The ability to interpret HR data and use it to support decision-making
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering or a B2B environment would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Location

Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

The role is mainly office-based in Kingswinford, working closely with the HR team, business leaders and employees across the site. There is some flexibility to work from home occasionally, where required.

There will also be occasional travel to the Netherlands, approximately 3-4 times per year, to the business's EMEA headquarters. This would be planned in advance.
