Qualifications

• 3+ years' practical experience in a generalist HR role.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
• Strong and current knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Experience managing a broad range of employee relations matters.
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Exposure to organisational change and change management.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with HR data and reporting.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A confident, consultative approach with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert advice across employee relations, including performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, restructures and redundancies.
• Advising managers and employees on family-friendly policies, including maternity and flexible working.
• Supporting effective absence management and return-to-work processes.
• Conducting exit interviews and using feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Supporting recruitment, interviewing and candidate assessment activity.
• Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Supporting performance management and annual review processes.
• Researching and introducing new HR initiatives and best practice.
• Producing regular HR reports and analysing people data.
• Supporting monthly payroll processes and ensuring HR data is accurate.
• Providing general HR administration and day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle.
