Job summary

BramahHR Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Wigan. This office-based role covers employee relations, recruitment, coaching and engagement to support a busy HR team.

You'll advise managers, manage employee relations cases, support onboarding and contribute to wellbeing initiatives. The role offers a stable, hands-on environment with a proactive team.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Generalist with employee relations knowledge.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
• Able to advise managers and support hiring and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations cases including absence, conduct, performance and probation.
• Prepare documentation for investigations, meetings and hearings.
• Support recruitment, contracts and onboarding processes.
• Coach managers on HR policies and people-related matters.
• Maintain HR records and support reporting requirements.
• Contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Assist the wider HR team with generalist activities and process improvements.

HR Generalist - 12 Month FTC

Salary:£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Hours:Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm | Friday, 9am - 3:30pm

Confident and proactive HR Generalist to join a supportive HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys a varied, hands-on role. You'll be supporting everything from employee relations and recruitment to manager coaching and employee engagement, making a real impact from day one.

About the candidate

You'll be an experienced HR Generalist with a strong understanding of employee relations, HR processes and employment legislation. Confident, approachable and organised, you'll be comfortable advising managers, managing competing priorities and adapting to change. We're looking for a proactive team player who can hit the ground running, with candidates from all industry backgrounds welcome.

What you'll do
