Job summary

AuB Talent is seeking an HR Generalist to act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries and payroll data preparation. You will support management to embed a productive culture and work closely with the HSQE team to promote a safety-first environment.

The role requires experience in HR advisory activities within fast-paced operations, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication. Stanwell Moor location offers hands-on HR support in an environmental operations setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for employee HR queries and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a comprehensive HR function and support management to foster a productive culture.
• Handle day-to-day HR matters for staff and management.
• Provide payroll data collation and validation in collaboration with Finance Director.
• Offer generalist HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
• Support HSQE with safety initiatives and PPE compliance.

The Role: HR Generalist and H&S Engagement

Location: Stanwell Moor

Salary Circa £38k - £50k

The Company

Our client, is a fast paced operational environmental organisation, looking for an HR professional to provide HR guidance and pragmatic advice in an operational environment. This role also includes positively encouraging H&S engagement.

The Role

• As HR Generalist you will be the point of contact for employee queries about HR related issues, escalating and seeking support from the General Manager when required.
• As our HR Generalist/Co-Ordinator you will maintain a comprehensive HR function and will work with and support the management team to embed and create a productive, supportive and dynamic culture.
• You will be the main point of contact for employees and management on day to day HR matters
• You will provide Payroll administrative support, collating and checking payroll data, working with the Finance Director
• You will provide generalist HR administrative across the employee life cycle.
• You will provide support to the HSQE manager in actively encouraging a safety first H&S environment, including PPE checks, safety walk arounds.

The Successful Candidate

• The successful candidate will have experience working in an HR Advisory remit experience, including payroll, looking for an opportunity to make their own.
• You will have experience working in a fast, operational working environment.
• You will be highly organised having the ability to work in busy working environment.
• It would be advantageous to have CIPD HR accreditation but this is not essential.
• Sectors of interest could be waste management, engineering, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, , industrial or logistics.
• You will have an excellent communication style both verbally and written with the ability to build relationships positively and collaboratively.
