Job description

The HR Functional Analyst is an exciting role under the guidance of the Head of Business Systems, responsible for providing business analysis, implementation, and support expertise across HR systems at TMG. This includes reviewing existing HR systems, supporting the HR programme to replace them with a single SaaS solution, and acting as a core part of the Business Systems team liaising between HR SMEs, technology SMEs, analysts, and third parties.

The role offers an opportunity to influence the delivery and management of HR systems at TMG, with hybrid working arrangements (3 days in the office). Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the functional setup of HR systems
  • Leading on HR system implementation alongside partners
  • Recommending and implementing system enhancements
  • Drafting functional specifications and advising on best practices
  • Monitoring system issues and supporting end users
  • Managing system documentation and coordinating system improvements with third parties
  • Providing ongoing support post-HR transformation

Ideal candidates will have experience with SaaS HR solutions, especially Ceridian DayForce, and a comprehensive understanding of the 'Hire to Retire' process. They should be adept at stakeholder management, conducting user workshops, and collaborating with technical teams to extend system functionality.
