HR Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in developing the HR Data Strategy and integrating data analytics into the wider HR strategy, across the Europe & Latin America region. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with local, regional and global stakeholders to understand HR data requirements and deliver complex management information to support good business outcomes.
The primary focus of the HR Data Analyst will be to support local, global and group reporting requirements to ensure accurate and timely submission of insightful HR metrics. To support this, the HR Data Analyst will work with local and regional teams to develop reporting capabilities within the local, regional and global HR systems, create complex dashboards/reports, produce monthly/quarterly/annual management information and respond to adhoc data requests as required.
To enable the accurate reporting of data, the HR Data Analyst will oversee the regional HR data collection processes and ensure accurate recording of data into the local and global HR systems, ensuring the continuous development and embedding of well-defined processes and procedures in relation to core HR activities (headcount, attrition, DEI, absence, recruitment etc).
The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a thorough understanding of HR systems and processes, and the ability to oversee processes while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization by integrating data insights with operational oversight to drive efficiency, accuracy, and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities:
HR Data Analytics (50%)
Local Data Reporting: Identifying local & regional stakeholder data requirements, and producing appropriate data outputs to meet the needs of the business. This will include but is not limited to a Data Dashboard, creation of quarterly and annual board/ExCo reports, and managing adhoc data requests. Serve as the point of contact for all local and regional HR data requests. Work with the EULA HR Services team and other stakeholders to develop reporting capabilities, as required.
Regional/Global/Group Reporting: Collaborating with colleagues at the regional, global and group level to support wider data reporting requirements, including but not limited to the ECON Report and Sustainability Report. Serve as the point of contact for all global, regional and group data requests.
Developing HR Data Strategy: Working with the global Reporting & Analytics team to develop a clear Data Strategy, and support the provision of insightful HR metrics. Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Utilisation of new technology, including but not limited to PowerBI to continuously improve the ability to manipulate and present management information.
Adhoc Data Requests: Act as main point of contact in relation to adhoc HR data reporting requests, ensuring that accurate data is provided in a timely manner, as required and in accordance with GDPR requirements.
2. Oversight of data accuracy (50%)
Data Management: Develop and maintain clear processes and procedures to ensure appropriate data collection methodologies, and owning the accurate recording of data in both the local and global HR systems.
Take responsibility for the accurate collection and recording of data relating to Joiner, Mover & Leaver ("JML") activity and ensure that the HRIS system is kept up to date. Provide updates and/or escalate to the Head of HR Services.
Work with the EULA HR Services team to ensure that data is accurately aligned between both the SuccessFactors and other HRIS systems; ensuring that reporting capabilities exist to ensure alignment, and that regular checks are implemented to maintain accuracy.
Continuously improve data collection and system maintenance processes, keeping up with changes in regulatory/legislative requirements, as well as technological changes within Munich Re and ensuring compliance with data protection policies regionally.
