Introduction

The HR Systems and Data Team is responsible for supporting and developing the new iTrent HR and Payroll System, enabling users to fully utilize the applications. The team provides leadership and technical advice on system applications to maximize productivity and system performance.

The Role

This role is part of the HR Systems team, focusing on application support and maintenance of HR systems to ensure effective service delivery.

The HR Data Analyst is responsible for delivering insightful HR management information, key workforce indicators, and analyses that support strategic decision-making. The team currently uses SAP Business Objects for MI reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as an HR System expert, providing leadership and technical advice to users, and maximizing system productivity.
  • Leading troubleshooting efforts for system issues and customer inquiries.
  • Developing reports using various report-writing and data extraction tools.
  • Maintaining and developing HR management information.
  • Implementing upgrades and system changes following established procedures, including planning and gaining approval for changes.
  • Managing project delivery and planning workstream tasks or system improvement projects.
  • Maintaining and creating policies and procedures related to HR systems.
Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in developing complex MI reports and dashboards from iTrent HR systems using SAP Business Objects, BI tools, and advanced Excel skills, including handling large data sets.
  • Proven business analysis experience, including process mapping and requirements gathering. Experience in database administration and data management is also essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in technical and service delivery environments, with the ability to analyze information and find solutions.
  • Significant experience managing competing customer support and project priorities.
  • A commitment to principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times.
