Job summary

Teledyne e2v in the United Kingdom is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the UK HR team from our Chelmsford office. You will handle employee data, on/off-boarding, inductions, HRIS upkeep, and reporting while delivering a high standard of customer service to employees and managers.

You will partner with a busy HR function, using Workday and related HRIS tools, and contribute to process improvements, policy documentation, and HR projects within the department.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy HR function.
• Experience with Workday system.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Ability to prioritise and multitask with a process improvement mindset.
• Attention to detail and “right first time” approach to work and ability to maintain this during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for the UK HR team by offering professional customer service regarding HR policies and advice to employees and managers.
• Manage the Chelmsford HR Helpdesk and phone lines.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers.
• Management of HR ticketing tool and shared inbox.
• On and off boarding of employees.
• Processing and communication of employee data (administration of contractual offers, employee changes).
• Induction of new joiners.
• Updating the HRIS ensuring data accuracy (Workday).
• Administration support for company reward schemes such as third party benefit providers, Long Service Awards.
• Prepare standard and ad hoc reports.
• Develop and maintain Procedures, Policies and Work Instructions.
• Coordinate and support key HR projects within the department.
• In this role you will work closely and support with the wider HR team, including notetaking for disciplinary hearings, grievances, support with consultations and redundancies, and mandatory collective bargaining activity.
