Job summary

Roundhouse recruitment is listing an HR / Admin Coordinator in Stockport, Greater Manchester. The role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home) with a clear path to progression and potential profit sharing within a growing engineering business.

You will take full ownership of day-to-day HR across the company, handling contracts, onboarding, appraisals, HR systems and employee engagement as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Manager, HR Coordinator, or Senior HR Administrator in a small-to-medium business.
• BrightHR experience and/or an HR qualification advantageous.
• Comfortable operating autonomously as a standalone HR professional.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day HR administration across the business.
• Prepare offer letters, contracts, remuneration letters and employment documentation.
• Manage employee records and HR information through BrightHR.
• Coordinate inductions, appraisals and recruitment activity.
• Maintain HR policies, company handbook and employment documentation.
• Support absence reporting and payroll administration.
• Act as a first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
• Hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
