This is a newly created position within an established and expanding specialist engineering business of around 65 employees. Reporting directly to the Director, you'll work closely with departmental managers across the entire business, taking ownership of day-to-day HR while helping shape how the function develops as the company continues to grow.
The company currently employs around 65 people and has continued to expand year-on-year. With HR responsibilities previously shared between directors and departmental managers, you'll step into a newly created position with genuine autonomy, the opportunity to improve existing processes and exceptional long-term progression, potentially building an HR team around you and progressing towards board level.
You'll have the opportunity to make the position your own, supporting the full employee lifecycle across contracts, onboarding, recruitment, appraisals, HR systems, policies and employee engagement.
