Job type:Full time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week; Monday-Friday)

Our client is a Bristol-based independent wholesale company, currently seeking a Full Time, Permanent HR and Recruitment Coordinator.

This is a new and exciting position, reporting to the HR Manager. You will assist in running a small HR team, supporting all company employees, and responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining company processes and procedures.

This is an exciting time to join the company as they grow, offering plenty of opportunities to develop in a friendly, busy environment.

About You

The HR and Recruitment Coordinator should have:

  • Completed or working towards CIPD Level 3 or HR experience
  • Knowledge of employment law and eagerness to learn
  • Strong administration skills with attention to detail
  • IT literacy, familiarity with Microsoft Office and HR databases
  • High confidentiality awareness, GDPR compliance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to handle sensitive situations professionally
  • Friendly, helpful demeanor, excellent people skills
  • Tact and diplomacy
  • Highly organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

This busy, hands-on HR role involves various activities, including:

  • Managing employee personnel files
  • Responding to HR queries and advising managers/employees
  • Supporting HR meetings and documentation
  • Managing HR database and reports
  • Logging employee absence and identifying trends
  • Supporting recruitment activities: advertising, sourcing, interviewing, and paperwork
  • Managing onboarding processes
  • Arranging temporary staffing and training sessions
