Job Overview
Weare seeking an experienced and customer-focused HR Coordinator to providehigh-quality administrative and operational HR support across the employeelifecycle. As a key member of the HR team, you will be the first point ofcontact employees and managers, ensuring efficient HR service deliverywhile maintaining accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Location: Basingstoke, UK (On-site)
Contract:12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours:Full-Time, 37 hours per week
Start Date: September/October
Salary: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35 of £15 -£17 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee life cycle processes.
- Support employees throughout their employment journey and ensure a positive experience.
- Escalate complex employee relations and compliance matters when required.
- Manage HR administration across the employee life cycle, including:
- New hire administration and onboarding
- Employee transfers, promotions, and organisational changes
- Leave and absence of administration
- Offboarding and termination processes
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation, correspondence, and employee records.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure employee changes are processed accurately and on time.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee queries.
- Support annual compensation and benefits review processes.
- Participate in HR projects and organisational initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in HR Administration, HR Operations, Shared Services, or a similar HR support role.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritisation abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience handling confidential employee data.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Preferred
- Fluency in a second European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch).
- Experience supporting employees across multiple countries.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Darwin box, Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar.
- Knowledge of end-to-end employee life cycle processes.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR administration experience.
