Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced HR Co-ordinator in Felixstowe for a broad generalist role delivering operational HR support and employee relations guidance. The position is hybrid, with 3 days on site and 2 days from home.

You will partner with managers, handle employee lifecycle activities, support recruitment and onboarding, and drive HR metrics and GDPR-compliant records across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently.
  • Experience partnering with managers and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Proficient in HR analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management processes.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on employment legislation, HR policies, and best practice.
  • Support organisational change initiatives and employee consultation processes where required.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant HR decision-making across the business.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction activities.
  • Coordinate talent reviews and succession planning initiatives.
  • Manage contractual changes and employee records.
  • Support performance management processes and development planning.
  • Produce and analyse HR metrics including absence levels, turnover, recruitment activity and costs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
  • Partner with managers to enhance employee experience and retention.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive working environment.
  • Review and improve HR processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Contribute to HR projects and wider business improvement initiatives.
  • Drive best practice and help develop high-performing teams.

HR Co-ordinator

Salary: up to £42,000pa

Location: Felixstowe, 3days a week, 2 from home

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join a growing organisation. This is a broad generalist role responsible for delivering operational HR support, managing employee relations matters, and partnering with managers to drive effective people practices across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, providing expert HR guidance, and helping to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & HR Support
  • Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management processes.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on employment legislation, HR policies, and best practice.
  • Support organisational change initiatives and employee consultation processes where required.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant HR decision-making across the business.
Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction activities.

HR Data & Reporting

Employee Engagement & Wellbeing
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
  • Partner with managers to enhance employee experience and retention.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive working environment.
Continuous Improvement
  • Review and improve HR processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Contribute to HR projects and wider business improvement initiatives.
  • Drive best practice and help develop high-performing teams.
About You
Essential Experience
  • Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently.
  • Experience partnering with managers and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
