GBR Recruitment are working exclusively with a leading progressive, people-centric East Midlands based construction company, recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to lead HR/ER/Payroll across the organisation. This true HR Generalist role reports to the HR Director and oversees HR Advisors, HR Assistants, and a Payroll Manager.

The role is on-site at the Leicester HQ, five days a week, with a focus on HRBP activities, compliance with UK employment law, and strategic HR policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Strong HR/ER & Employee Engagement experience.
• True 360 degree HR generalist capability.
• Solid payroll knowledge and exposure to payroll processes.
• Experience managing teams in a 500+ employee environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law & best practices.
• CIPD L5 or L7 qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Deliver 360 HR/ER generalist support across the business.
• Lead HRBP activities with SMT and other stakeholders.
• Drive recruitment, absence management, disciplinaries and grievances as needed.
• Provide employment law advice to managers and staff.
• Lead HR/ER projects and continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Mentor and develop HR Advisors/Assistants and oversee payroll activities.
