Job description

Join us as an HR Business Partner – Education (FTC) and play a key role in shaping a positive people experience across our education client groups. In this varied, hands-on role, you'll take a consultative and personalised approach to all aspects of HR — from supporting employee relations to delivering meaningful initiatives that enhance every stage of the employee journey. Working as a true generalist, you'll help attract, engage, develop, and recognise our teams, all while contributing to the broader UK and Group HR strategy. If you're passionate about making an impact and thrive on building strong, trusted relationships, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a fixed term opportunity starting as soon as possible up until the end of August 2025. This is a remote role with travel required to support business needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coach and upskill Line Managers and Operators on employee relations and HR practices.
  • Manage complex ER issues, TUPE transfers, and tribunal cases with legal support.
  • Lead HR Plan delivery and promote key pillars: Engagement, Development, Communication, Employer Brand, and Culture.
  • Partner with stakeholders and Sales to align HR solutions with business needs and support mobilisations.
  • Collaborate with L&D and Talent teams to drive the People Vision and deliver impactful training.
  • Deliver monthly ER training and company-wide HR sessions to build capability.
  • Contribute to HR strategy through cross-functional projects and proactive engagement.
  • Attend Ops Meetings to drive HR initiatives and address business concerns.

What can you bring:

  • Strong HR background, ideally with TUPE and CIPD qualification.
  • Skilled communicator who can influence at all levels.
  • Experience in education settings (e.g., TTO, safeguarding) preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management.
  • Adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to high service standards.
  • Warm, approachable, and professional in all interactions.
  • Trusted adviser with strong influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Clear, commercial communicator with solid business understanding.
  • Proactive in solving HR challenges within operational teams.
  • Skilled in delivering, embedding, and measuring HR initiatives.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with tailored HR solutions.
  • Promotes best practice and a positive team culture.
