Through creativity and collaboration our Strategic Business Partner team plays a pivotal role in driving employee engagement, organisational success, and fostering a positive work environment. Within our extensive team there are countless projects and initiatives that advance your career and personal growth.

Do you excel at building strong relationships and managing diverse stakeholders? Are you confident in navigating competing priorities across a dynamic and complex organisation? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are currently seeking two HR Business Partners to join our HR Operations team. We have one role based in Bristol and another with a national remit, supporting our Fleet operations.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll work in close partnership with Operations Directors to help deliver both immediate business goals and long-term strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting leaders to drive high performance through effective, ‘line-owned’ people management.
• Providing expert advice and insight to senior operational teams, informed by high-quality data and reporting, to support evidence-based decision-making.
• Acting as a trusted HR consultant to ensure alignment between business strategies and people priorities.
• Ensuring compliance and strong governance across HR functions, while promoting adherence to corporate policies and processes.
• Acting as a liaison between the regional teams and the wider HR function, ensuring agreed service levels and standards are met.
• Championing a culture of integrity, accountability, and collaboration to strengthen workplace relationships and trust at all levels.
• Leading and supporting a range of people-related change and transformation projects.
• Promoting and advocating for the full range of HR services and resources available to the business.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:
• The ability to act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships and positively influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent critical thinking skills, with a logical, resilient, and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
• Proven experience in supporting and implementing organisational change.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• A sound understanding of commercial drivers, business strategy, and their implications for people and customers.
• Working towards CIPD qualification.

Next Steps

The next stage of the selection process will be a face to face or virtual interview consisting of competency based and role specific questions.
