Job summary

Plum Personnel is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its Warehouse & Logistics operation in Nottingham, offering hybrid working and a salary of £45,000–£47,000. In this hands-on role you’ll partner with managers, advise on people matters, support recruitment, workforce planning and drive employee engagement across the European logistics arm.

The ideal candidate will have UK employment law knowledge, HRBP or Senior HR Advisor experience in an international setting, and CIPD

• HRBP or Senior HR Advisor experience in international company.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience in fast-paced, operational environments, preferably warehouse/logistics.
• The ability to work independently, prioritise and think on your feet.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• CIPD Level 5 desirable.
• SAP HCM/SuccessFactors experience advantageous.

HR Business Partner – Warehouse & Logistics

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid working)

Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 Temp to Perm opportunity to start ASAP

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor looking for a role where you can genuinely influence the business?

We’re recruiting for a global organization who are seeking a HR Business Partner to support its busy Warehouse & Logistics operation, employing over 250 staff. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role where you’ll partner with managers, provide expert HR advice and get involved with new projects.

The role

You’ll be reporting directly for the logistics arm in Europe, providing reports and monitoring KPI’s as well as getting involved in group projects. It’s a busy role and you will never be short of work!

Key areas include:

• Coaching and challenging managers on people-related matters.
• Overseeing employee relations issues - which is outsourced.
• Supporting recruitment, workforce planning and departmental resourcing.
• Driving employee engagement initiatives and action plans.
• Supporting Learning & Development and delivering training where required.
• Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working.
• Producing HR reports and ensuring accurate employee and payroll data.
• Working closely with the wider HR team and Shared Service Centre.

About you

We’re looking for an HR professional who is confident, approachable and commercially minded, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.

You’ll ideally have:

• HRBP or Senior HR Advisor experience within an international company.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, operational environment, ideally within a Warehouse/Logistics environment.
• The ability to work independently, prioritise and think on your feet.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification would be desirable.
• SAP HCM/SuccessFactors experience would be advantageous.
