Job summary

Farleigh Hospice is seeking an HR Assistant to join our People team in the Chelmsford area. You will support day-to-day HR tasks, coordinate recruitment administration, onboarding, and maintain personnel records. A proactive, customer-focused approach and good IT skills are essential.

You will contribute to delivering high-quality services while navigating a busy environment. DBS checks may be required, with a three-month probation period and a supportive team culture.

Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region.Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve and we are looking for highly motivated HR Assistant to join our People team.

The successful candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and committed to delivering excellent service. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will also be well organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive and solution-focused approach.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with strong organisational and time management abilities. You will be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and possess good IT and administrative skills. A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting continuous improvement is essential.
