Job summary

Farleigh Hospice is seeking a motivated Stock Assistant to join our Maldon Warehouse team. You will handle donated stock, perform cleaning, polishing, steaming, ticketing and pricing under the manager's direction.

You'll review items for sale (including PAT testing), assist with stock rotation and shop-floor merchandising, manage Gift Aid donations, and provide till cover as needed. You may also help unload vans delivering stock to the shop.

Qualifications

• Stock handling and presentation duties.
• Assist with shop floor merchandising and stock rotation.
• Support till operations and front-of-house coverage.

Responsibilities

• Handle donated stock, including cleaning, polishing, steaming, ticketing and pricing.
• Review items before sale, such as PAT testing.
• Assist in stock rotation and placement, including lifting and moving heavy furniture.
• Assist in merchandising the shop floor, including movement and culling as directed.
• Manage Gift Aid donations to prioritise preparation for sale.
• Provide till point cover as necessary.
• Assist in unloading Farleigh Vans loaded with shop stock.

You will:

Assistin dealing with donated stock asrequired, including cleaning, polishing, steaming,ticketingand pricing under the direction of the Manager
