Job summary

London Luton Airport Operations Ltd is hiring an HR Apprentice as part of the London Luton Airport Apprenticeship Programme. The role supports the HR team across administration, recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities while enrolled on a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship with BPP.

The role is 37 hours per week, hybrid with three days in the office and a study day, with an emphasis on GDPR-compliant HR processes, data accuracy, and continuous learning within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proactive and willing to learn and build a career in HR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records on HR systems and process HR documentation such as contracts and letters.
• Assist with recruitment activities: post vacancies, arrange interviews, and onboard new employees.
• Be the first point of contact for HR queries and support lifecycle activities (starters, movers, leavers).
• Assist in organising training sessions and monitor learning completion.
• Update HR databases and generate routine HR reports for data audits and compliance.
