Overview

The Fédération Internationale de la Jeunesse (International Youth Federation, IYF) is an international non-profit youth organization network governed by its Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is politically neutral and non-denominational, aiming to empower youth worldwide.

The IYF Bureau of Management oversees the organization, providing leadership, advisory, and management support to the IYF Headquarters and other branches.

Under the guidance of the Human Resources Specialist, the HR Analyst supports the execution of HR services, ensuring transparency and integrity. The role involves collaboration with HQ, regional administrations, and project teams to provide HR support, resolve complex HR issues, and promote a positive staff morale.

Responsibilities

(A) HR Strategies and Policies:

• Ensure compliance of HR recording and reporting systems with IYF rules, regulations, procedures, and strategies.
• Provide advice on corporate strategies, regulatory changes, personnel rules, contractual modalities, entitlements, and change management processes.
• Map HR business processes and develop internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR management.

(B) Human Resources Administration:

• Organize recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, participating in interviews, and advising on recruitment procedures.
• Create and update positions in the HR system and follow up on HR-related issues with management.
• Administer the IYF rosters, including electronic rosters.

(C) Knowledge Building and Sharing:

• Contribute to the Corporate Learning Plan (CLP) and team learning plans.
• Organize HR training for staff involved in operations and projects.
• Synthesize lessons learned and best practices in HR.
• Participate in knowledge networks and communities of practice.

Experience

Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR is desired.
