Job summary

Seymour John Limited is seeking an HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. The role is hybrid after an initial training period, with a salary of £35,000-£40,000.

You will support managers and employees across the full HR lifecycle, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and change initiatives to deliver a high-quality people service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor, People Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor or similar HR role
• A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• Experience managing employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters
• The ability to confidently advise and coach managers on a range of people-related issues
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Providing HR advice and guidance on employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability cases
• Coaching and supporting managers on people-related issues and best practice
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and wider employee lifecycle activities
• Analysing HR data and producing insights and recommendations
• Supporting learning and development initiatives and employee development programmes
• Assisting with organisational change projects, restructures and consultations
• Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and systems
• Contributing to employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives
