Thistle Seafoods Ltd in the UK seeks an HR Advisor to deliver day-to-day HR in their area, offering practical advice to managers and staff and ensuring policies are applied fairly and consistently.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll develop HR policies, stay compliant with employment law, and support ethical audits and sponsorship processes while maintaining accurate HR records across sites in Peterhead and Uddingston.

Formación

• Strong generalist HR knowledge, ideally in manufacturing or fast-paced environments.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing employee relations including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance.
• Experience developing and applying HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
• Experience of HR systems, employee records and workforce reporting.
• Understanding of data protection and confidentiality relating to employee information.
• Knowledge of Skilled Worker visa or sponsorship processes would be advantageous.
• Awareness of ethical employment and labour provider compliance would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional and practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across all areas of HR.
• Manage and advise on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and employment documentation, ensuring legal compliance.
• Monitor employment legislation and HR best practice, identifying changes and implementing actions.
• Coordinate HR requirements for ethical audits and support compliance with customer and CSR requirements.
• Support and maintain knowledge of Skilled Worker visa and sponsor licence requirements.
