Russell Taylor Group is hiring an HR Advisor for a global manufacturing site in Ellesmere Port. The role is permanent with hybrid hours and a salary of £32,000–£38,000 depending on experience. The team benefits from 25 days + bank holidays, a company pension, life assurance and private medical cover.

You will manage recruitment end-to-end, advise on HR matters, maintain records and support HR system improvements as the business grows.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified HR professional with experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Proven recruitment and employee relations experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
• Experience working with HR systems and handling employee data.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Confident advising managers on sensitive employee matters.
• Experience recruiting technical or shift-based employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment processes from briefing to offer and onboarding.

Our client a global manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for their rapidly expanding UK site.

The Role

• Manage recruitment processes from initial briefing through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with managers on recruitment, interviewing and candidate selection.
• Provide practical HR advice on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and probation matters.
• Support investigations and formal HR meetings, including preparation of documentation and outcome letters.
• Provide HR support to manufacturing and shift-based employees, including attendance, overtime and working patterns.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, producing key HR reports and data.
• Support policy, process and employee handbook updates.
• Provide HR support and communications for employees, candidates and business contacts.

The Person

• CIPD qualification
• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist position.
• Strong recruitment and employee relations experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
• Good understanding of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
• Confident working with HR systems and employee data.
• Fluent English - written and spoken (essential).
• Confident advising managers and handling sensitive employee matters.
• Comfortable working in a growing business where processes and systems are still developing.
• Experience recruiting technical, manufacturing or shift-based employees.
• Experience implementing or improving HR systems and processes.
