Job summary

Russell Taylor Group in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a growing UK site. This role covers recruitment, advisory duties and HR administration with hybrid working options.

You will partner with managers on disciplinary matters, absence and policy updates, support HR systems and data accuracy, and ensure compliance with UK employment law and ACAS guidance. The package includes 25 days’ holiday, pension, life assurance and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification
• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist position
• Strong recruitment and employee relations experience
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment
• Good understanding of UK employment law and ACAS guidance
• Confident working with HR systems and employee data
• Fluent English - written and spoken (essential)
• Confident advising managers and handling sensitive employee matters
• Comfortable working in a growing business where processes and systems are still developing
• Experience recruiting technical, manufacturing or shift-based employees
• Experience implementing or improving HR systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment processes from initial briefing through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with managers on recruitment, interviewing and candidate selection.
• Provide practical HR advice on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and probation matters.
• Support investigations and formal HR meetings, including preparation of documentation and outcome letters.
• Provide HR support to manufacturing and shift-based employees, including attendance, overtime and working patterns.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, producing key HR reports and data.
• Support policy, process and employee handbook updates.
• Provide HR support and communications for employees, candidates and business contacts.
• Help develop and implement new HR processes, systems and reporting as the organisation continues to grow.
