Job summary

SourceCo Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an HR Advisor in Ledbury to join a growing food manufacturing business. This hands-on HR generalist role focuses on employee relations, working with the Head of People to support managers and staff and help grow people practices.

You will provide practical HR support, handle ER cases, assist with recruitment, onboarding and policy development, and maintain HR records and compliance across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor/Co-ordinator or Generalist in an HR role.
• Strong Employee Relations experience and impact on case handling.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and reporting outcomes.
• Clear communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to organise and prioritise HR tasks across a fast-growing team.

HR Advisor

Location: Ledbury

Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join a growing food manufacturing business in Ledbury.

This is a hands-on, generalist HR role with a strong Employee Relations focus. Working alongside the Head of People, you will provide practical HR support to managers and employees while helping to develop people practices and support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

About You

Essential:

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Coordinator or Generalist HR role.
• Strong Employee Relations experience.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.

Desirable:

• CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards it or willing to work towards it.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or another operational environment.
• Experience supporting organisational growth or change.
• Experience with HR systems, employee engagement or payroll.
