Job summary

Penguin Random House UK is seeking an HR Advisor to join our team in Frating, Colchester on a fixed term contract until August 2027. You will support Distribution & Finance Services and act as a first point of contact for managers on people matters, delivering pragmatic HR advice across the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you’ll help manage talent, reward and employee relations, while coaching managers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR environment (HR Advisor/Administrator/Coordinator).
• Ability to support managers on people matters with sound judgement.
• Good grounding in employment law and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for managers for day-to-day HR support.
• Support talent, reward and employee relations across the business.
• Coach managers and colleagues on HR policies and practices.
