Job summary

Penguin Random House UK is seeking an HR Advisor to join our team in Frating, Colchester on a fixed-term contract until August 2027. You will support managers and employees across Distribution & Finance Services, providing practical HR advice and helping with policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a generalist HR environment.
• Experience of supporting managers and/or HR colleagues with people matters.
• Exposure to employee relations matters such as absence management, disciplinaries, grievances or family leave.
• Grounding in employment law and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, credible relationships with managers and colleagues as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR support.
• Take a pragmatic approach to people matters and help managers make confident decisions.
• Collaborate with HR and wider business to balance priorities in a busy environment.
