Job summary

St David Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established business in Porth, South Wales. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary, and excellent benefits.

You will provide practical HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees with ER matters, recruitment, onboarding, HR admin and people development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting employee relations and the wider employee lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised, approachable and able to manage competing priorities.
• Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Support employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and flexible working requests.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts, employee changes and leavers.
• Coordinate inductions, probation reviews and training activities.
• Maintain accurate HR records and produce monthly HR reports.
• Support employee benefits, occupational health referrals and apprenticeship programmes.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement across the business.
