Job summary

Jo Holdsworth Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide hands-on employee relations support across a busy HR team. You will own a diverse caseload, advise managers on UK employment law and HR policies, and assist with disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters.

The role is hybrid with flexible hours, based near LS15. Immediate start to cover short-term to potential extension, with salary £38,000–£40,000 DOE FTE.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor, HR Generalist, ER Advisor or HR Business Partner.
• Hands-on ER casework management.
• UK employment law knowledge and HR best practice.
• Ability to handle high-volume caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume ER casework from query to resolution.
• Advise and coach managers on UK employment law and HR policies.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance cases, investigations, and meetings.
• Support managers with performance and capability matters.
• Manage absence cases and advise next steps.
• Produce ER documentation and correspondence.
• Support HR projects and TUPE activities.
